25 | On February 6th, 2025 at approximately 2:10pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) April Wright met with licensee Bhawana Gandhi for an Annual Random Inspection. LPA was allowed entry in the home by the licensee after the purpose of the inspection was disclosed. There were no children present during the inspection. LPA toured the home to conduct a health and safety inspection. Hours of operation are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
The single story consists of three (3) bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms, living room (main daycare area), kitchen/dining room (day-care area #2), backyard with gazebo, shed and garage. The isolation area for sick children is the couch in the living room (day-care area #1) which is a section away from other children in care. There are age appropriate toys that the LPA observed to be in good condition. LPA observed and Licensee confirmed that there ere are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water present in the home.
On limit areas include: Living room (day-care room #1), Kitchen/Dining room area, Play room (bedroom #1/daycare area #2) which is to the left of the entrance to home, bathroom (to the right of hallway) and backyard.
Off-limits areas include: Two (2) remaining bedrooms, master bathroom, shed and garage.
The off limits areas will be made inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. LPA observed and licensee confirmed that there are no hazardous materials, including cleaning products or toxins present during the inspection. The home has a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher, working smoke detector/carbon monoxide, fully stocked First Aid Kit and telephone. There is a fireplace with cage and blocked by a table which makes it inaccessible to children in care. LPA observed and Licensee confirmed that are no weapons or firearms present at the home.
