On August 25, 2026, at 8:40AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Randy Miranda met with Licensee Zahaira Pereda Lopez to deliver the findings from a complaint investigation for the above allegation. LPA toured the facility and obtained a copy of the facility roster. Present for the inspection was the licensee, licensee’s assistant, licensee's adult daughter, and 7 children in care (3 infants, 3 toddlers, and 1 preschool age).

Based on interviews, observations, and record review, there is insufficient evidence to support the allegation that the licensee handled day care children in a rough manner. Although the allegation may have happened or may be valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove whether the alleged violation did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal Rights provided.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Zahaira Pereda Lopez.
