25 | On 03/06/2025 at 9:00 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) A. Hollinger and K. Sykes conducted an unannounced Annual, Required inspection. Present during today’s inspection was the licensee, Rosa Navarro (Rosa Martin-Nunez). The Licensee stated that they are the only adult living in the home. The home was toured for Health and Safety Inspection.
The home was observed to be orderly, with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. There are no pools, spas, hot tubs, or any other similar bodies of water at this home. There are no firearms on the premises as stated by the licensee. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to children are stored and inaccessible to children. The fireplace is in the living room area which the Licensee states they do not use. There are two dogs that reside in the home. LPAs verified that the fire extinguisher 2A10BC is fully charged. The home is equipped with a dual smoke and carbon monoxide detector. There is a working telephone in the home. The home provides appropriate toys, learning materials and play equipment. Facility and children's files weren't able to be reviewed due to them being in storage.
On limits area: the family room, dining room, living room, kitchen and hallway bathroom.
Off limits area: all four bedrooms, master bathroom, laundry room and garage. Off limits areas will be made inaccessible by use by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision.
The licensee is currently not operating and has not been operating for at least a year. LPAs did not observe any children in the facility. Licensee has requested to be put on inactive status. LPAs printed out form LIC 9211 - Request for Inactive Child Care License Status and asked Rosa Navarro to complete and sign the form.
