13 | On 06/17/2026, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Dana Santiago and Nicole Reynoso arrived to deliver findings to the above allegation that was received from the department on 05/15/2026. Present during inspection were 15 children with 6 teachers and director on site.
During the investigation, the LPAs conducted interviews and gathered information pertaining to workplace interactions, supervisory practices, and any changes in duties or treatment that may have occurred after the complaint was made. Interviews revealed conflicting information, as some individuals reported experiencing or observing tension among staff, while others stated that no retaliatory behavior occurred and that any changes in duties or communication were related to regular staffing needs and not linked to the complaint. No witnesses provided consistent or verifiable details showing that retaliatory action was taken as a direct result of a staff complaint to the department. Due to the lack of corroborating evidence and inconsistent accounts, the allegation does not meet the preponderance of evidence standard therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. Exit Interview conducted with Awa Gaye. Notice of site was given and must be posted for 30 days. |
