13 | On 06/22/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeovanna Yanez conducted an unannounced complaint inspection. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver investigation findings for the above allegation. LPA met with Acting Director, Laura Cheney, and a census was taken. During the course of this investigation, LPA made observations at the facility, reviewed pertinent records and conducted interviews with staff.
This agency has investigated the allegation: 'Lack of supervision resulted in a child biting another child in care." Interviews revealed inconsistencies regarding the above allegation. It was determined that there was an incident where a child bit another child in care, however, there is insufficient evidence to prove that it was due to lack of supervision. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove any violation occurred; therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiency is being cited. Exit interview was conducted with Acting Director, Laura Cheney. A copy of this report and Appeal Rights were provided and discussed. |
