On October 7, 2026, at approximately 9:20 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Janet Gil conducted an unannounced annual inspection of the facility. LPA met with Licensee Lilit Bakhshiyan and explained the purpose of the inspection.
Present during the inspection was the licensee only. The facility is licensed as a Large Family Child Care Home and was operating within its licensed capacity at the time of the inspection. The licensee resides at the facility with her adult child and minor child. All adults residing in and/or working at the facility have criminal background clearances on file. The facility's hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, 1:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. The family child care home is a single-level residence consisting of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, dining room, garage, and kitchen.
Day Care Areas: Living room, dining room, children's bathroom located near the kitchen, and designated area of the backyard. Off-Limit Areas: All bedrooms, garage, and the remaining areas of the home. All other rooms and areas are off-limits to children and are made inaccessible by closed and locked doors.
At approximately 10:00 a.m., LPA toured the day care areas of the home with the licensee. LPA observed the home to be equipped with a variety of age-appropriate toys and materials, all of which were observed to be in working condition. LPA observed an accessible first aid kit located in the kitchen area. LPA observed that cleaning supplies, poisons, and other hazardous substances were not accessible to children. All cleaning supplies and hazardous substances were stored in the off-limits garage area of the home.
