On 3/2/2023 at approximately 1:35 p.m. Program Analyst (LPA), Judy Laureano conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection at 1847 Midvale Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90025 and was greeted by Monica Advani.
Facility operates Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Currently licensee cares for children ages 3 years old to 6 years old and is NOT available for overnight care or weekend care.

LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken; 4 children were present during the inspection.

The home has a living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a garage (there is an apartment above the garage that is used by licensee). The entire home is used for day care except 2 bedrooms that are located off the hall. The 3rd bedroom is used as an office and it leads to the back yard.

Licensee confirmed the following areas as OFF LIMITS to the children in
care: Kitchen area, bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 with bathroom. The detached garage and apartment unit upstairs- LPA observed a safety gate at the bottom of the stairs of the outside unit and garage doors were locked.
Living room and dinning room area have been designated as daycare use.

LPA observed age appropriate toys and material for children. The bathroom that children use is located next to bedroom 3/office.

Licensee uses the kitchen to store snacks that are brought in by families- families take turns bringing in snacks for the entire class and lunch is provided by families in lunch bags/boxes.
