Pediatric CPR and Pediatric First Aid training was reviewed by LPA; per preschool teacher, training was completed in the summer months. Furthermore, LPA discussed the importance of ensuring all necessary documents such as current Mandated Reporter training certification, proof of immunization: MMR, dtap and flu and all necessary Community Care Licensing documents are included in staff’s file.
LPA reviewed a sample of children’s files and observed 6 out of 6 files were complete with the all the necessary Community Care Licensing (LIC) forms.
LPA provided facility with current copies of the LIC 311A and LIC 125 to use as a reference when auditing files to ensure updated forms are being used.
The person who signs the child in/out of the facility shall use their full legal signature and record the time of day. LPA observed sign in/out sheet outside the preschool classroom.
All children are under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times.

For child care center licenses issued after July 1, 2022, the licensee shall test their water for lead within 180 days of licensure pursuant to Written Directives section 101700 (PIN 21-21.1-CCP.). LPA verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives (Interim Licensing Standards) outlined in PIN 21-21.1-CCP.
