When interviewing staff, staff stated that they have never put their hands on a child, they do not use inappropriate language as a form of disciple, and they have assistants present in the class. Per Staff #1, Staff #3, and Staff #4, whenever children have incidents at the childcare center, they fill out an incident report, and the office staff verbally inform parents about the incident.
Parent 1 (P1), P1 disclosed not observing staff be physical and that their children have also not made any disclosures regarding the allegation. P1 stated that they have not observed teachers speaking inappropriately to children during pick up or drop off. P1 stated they have submitted required documentation for their child prior to their child attending the childcare center.
Children interviews made no disclosures regarding the allegations.
Per children’s interviews, all children stated, teachers do not say bad words in the class or towards them.
Based on LPAs investigation which included interviews, observations, and record review there were no disclosures made to corroborate the allegations. When LPA reviewed records, children’s files were observed to be complete. LPA also observed staff files to be complete and a facility roster.
Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated.
