-Pertaining to the allegation that “Licensee served children expired foods”:
According to the Reporting Party, licensee has served children expired milk and moldy bread. During the 05/22/23 unannounced visit, LPA Ornelas inspected food items inside and outside of the refrigerator and found none of them to be expired. According to licensee, she uses the same food that her family uses and cooks every day. Two of the four parents interviewed stated that they love licensee’s cooking; the other two stated that their children have never made statements about the food served.

-Pertaining to the allegation that “Facility cribs are in disrepair”:
According to the Reporting Party, licensee has two infant cribs that are broken, but infants have still been placed in the cribs. During the 05/22/23 unannounced visit, LPA Ornelas observed all cribs to be in good repair.

Based on the evidence as documented above, the allegations have been determined to be Unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the allegation occurred.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee Diana Okonina.
