25 | On 12/20/2023 at 10:05am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrea Pittman conducted an announced prelicensing inspection visit to check for inefficiency corrections. The LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry by Applicant, Yvonne Delaney, who guided the LPA on a tour of the home. Upon entry to the facility, the LPA observed 0 child in care and the Applicant ready to provide care and supervision.
The Applicant needed to correct the following inefficiencies:
- Making the backyard off-limits until the following has been corrected: stabilizing the swing set, placing a cover over the accessible AC Unit, making the backyard inaccessible to the neighbors, installing cushioning material underneath and around the perimeter of the swing set, fencing off/barricading the pipes protruding from the ground, making the fire pit inaccessible, and making the shed inaccessible
- Proof of acquiring at least seven additional bedding of cots/mats/playpens/cribs up to the capacity of 14
The Applicant has made the following corrections to clear all inefficiencies. The Applicant has secured and stabilized the swing set to the ground and covered the ground with adequate cushioning material underneath and around the perimeter of the swing set and other play equipment in the backyard. The fire pit has been placed in an inaccessible area to the children in care. The AC has been covered all around making it inaccessible to children in care. The gate has been installed preventing access of the backyard to the neighbors living on the property and making the neighbors inaccessible to the children in care. The Applicant completed the LIC 855 Declaration stating that she will ensure that the gate separating the backyard outdoor play area from the side yard belonging to the neighbors will stay locked and secured preventing the neighbors that are not associated to the license from having access to the backyard outdoor play area. The Applicant has placed a lock on the shed in the backyard making it inaccessible to children in care. |
