Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Randy Derraco conducted an unannounced complaint insepction to the above mentioned address. LPA arrived at the facility at 9:30 AM and met with licensee, Maria Orozco who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. The purpose of this visit is to deliver complaint findings for the above allegations. LPA observed 1 adult assistant and 2 children in care. The home was observed to be clean and in good repair. LPA observed 1 child leaving at 10:40 AM.

During the investigation, LPA made observations, reviewed records, and conducted interviews. Parents interviewed state they would need to talk to the licensee regarding the way they observed her speaking to their children. One parent states that she observed the licensee yelling at the children in Spanish. Children interviewed state that licensee would make them sit on the floor or stare at the wall as a form of discipline. A video was received of a child in care at the licensee's facility crying and being made to keep her body and hands on the wall. LPA observed the wall and the floor tile in the video match an area located in the licensee's home.
