13 | On October 5, 2023, at 9:00am. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dayna Chambers conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to the above facility for the purpose of delivering findings. Licensee was transporting children and not home when LPA arrived at the home. LPA met with Licensee, Lisa Thompson, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility at 9:40am. LPA observed 5 children arrive with licensee and staff, Jaliscia Thompson.
During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, obtained documents, and observed surveillance video. Witnesses interviewed did not corroborate the allegations that licensee inappropriately snatched an item from a daycare child. Although the report alleged that the licensee snatched an item from a daycare child, LPA observed surveillance video and interviewed witnesses and did not confirm or show proof that a child’s personal rights were violated. Based on information obtained during the investigation, the allegation was determined to be unsubstantiated. An unsubstantiated finding means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred. |
