13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jeanette Estrada and Anthony Padilla met with Licensee Paula Holliman at 1105 Long Beach Blvd., Compton, CA 90221 to deliver findings for the above allegations. Facility is closed and is no longer in operation. During the investigation, interviews were conducted with reporting party, Licensee, staff (3), children (2) and parents (3). The licensee, staff, and children did not corroborate the allegation above. All children interviewed stated that the Licensee and staff are very nice. Licensee and staff all stated that the discipline policy method that the facility uses is redirection. Licensee and staff stated that injury/ouch reports, texts, or calls are given when children are injured. All parents interviewed confirmed they received injury/ouch reports or calls. Licensee and staff conduct “Daily Health Checks” with the parents during drop off. Two out of three parents interviewed stated that they were satisfied with level of care provided and one parent stated that there where concerns in the past, but it has been resolved. Although the above allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore at this time the above allegation is unsubstantiated. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – was not given because the Licensee has closed her facility on 10/27/23. Exit interview was conducted with Paula Holliman.
