32 | During interviews, all three (3) interviewed staff stated they had not witnessed children respond to the alleged activity in a negative manner. All three (3) children interviewed provided similar positive experiences with the classroom activity and teachers. LPA Castro did not observe any hazards in the classroom. Anything that could pose a danger to children in care was observed to be out of reach and inaccessible to children.
The Orange County Regional Child Care Licensing Office has investigated 1) Staff had inappropriate interaction with children in care and 2) Staff did not ensure that hazards were inaccessible to children in care. Based on the information gathered from LPA’s interviews and record reviews, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there was not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
No deficiencies cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
