There have been times that children have stayed at the childcare longer, due to last minute requests from parents, but the longest a child has stayed in the childcare has been until 9:30pm. S2 stated, they have never provided care for more than 24 hours.
LPA Odom attempted to interview 9 parents, but only 6 parents were interviewed on 02/07/22. All the parents disclosed, they have never been offered overnight care or weekend overnight care more than 24 hours long. All the parents disclosed, they have never left their children in care overnight or longer than 24 hours in the childcare. None of the parents disclosed any concerns with the childcare. All the parents were satisfied with the care the licensees provide to their children.
LPA Odom reviewed childcare policies and the childcare days and hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 6:00pm.
Based on LPA’s facility inspection, observations, interviews conducted with licensees, 6 parents, and records obtained, it has been determined there was insufficient evidence that facility provides weekend overnight care. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are Unsubstantiated.
