13 | On 02/27/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeremey McClain met with licensee Valquiria Medvecki for the purpose of delivering findings for a complaint investigation. Licensee’s husband was present during the inspection. LPA observed care and supervision of nine preschool aged children.
LPA investigated the allegation that a child sustained scratch injuries to their buttocks area, while in the care of the licensee. During the investigation, LPA observed licensee’s care of children, interviewed the licensee, interviewed a former assistant, and conducted interviews with parents. LPA reviewed children’s files. The evidence gathered was not substantial enough to corroborate that injuries the child sustained happened while they were in care. The preponderance of evidence standard has not been met; therefore, the allegation is determined unsubstantiated.
There were no Title 22 deficiencies resulting from the investigation. LPA reviewed this report with Licensee and provided a Notice of Site Visit that must be posted for 30 days. LPA provided Appeal Rights. |
