13 | On July 7, 2026 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stephanie Piring and Office Technician Yvonne Flores, met with Facility Representative Aman Purewal to deliver complaint investigation findings. Upon arrival, LPA observed 36 preschool age children, supervised by 5 staff members across 2 classrooms.
It was alleged that Staff did not ensure construction equipment is kept at a safe distance from day care children. During the course of the investigation, LPA made observations, and conducted interviews with director, staff, children, and authorized representatives. During LPAs visit on 5/06/26, LPA observed the staff kitchen/lounge area under construction in a hallway that children do not have access to without supervision. Interviews with staff and children did not reveal instances where children had access to constuction equipment. Based on observations and interviews, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegation; therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative Aman Purewal. Appeal rights were provided. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. |
