LPA measured outdoor toddler/preschool activity space of 2,710.25 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 28 preschool children and 12 toddlers on alternating schedules. LR submitted a waiver request to allow preschoolers and toddlers to share outdoor activity space during today's inspection. LPA measured total outdoor infant activity space of 671.56 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 7 infants.
There are sufficient outdoor toys and play equipment available on the playgrounds. LPA reminded LR to ensure that all play equipment and structures are only utilized by appropriate age groups. Drinking water is available outdoors via individual containers provided by parents. LPA observed large trees to provide shade in the outdoor activity spaces. There were sufficient wood chips beneath the play structure to provide padding.
