32 | It was alleged that staff yell at daycare children and that staff yell at other staff in the presence of daycare children. LPA conducted three separate visits on 7/23/26, 8/11/26, and 8/26/26 and did not observe any staff yelling at other staff or daycare children. During interviews, LPA received conflicting information on whether staff yell at daycare children.
It was alleged that staff do not provide morning snacks, do not follow the breakfast menu, and only serve cereal for breakfast. LPA interviews revealed the facility does follow their menu; however, the facility does not serve a morning snack as part of their program. LPA was able to observe the current menu posted on the information board and confirmed the facility does not serve a morning snack only breakfast.
It was alleged that staff demonstrated inappropriate forms of discipline by not allowing children to finish their meals when they get in trouble. Staff interviews revealed children sit to eat and if they’d like to have a second serving, they are always allowed to. Staff denied knowledge of children having their food taken away as punishment when they get in trouble.
It was alleged that children are being denied water when they ask for it. Staff interviews disclosed that water is provided to children when they ask for it.
