13 | On March 28, 2025, at 8:10 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gabriela Hernandez met with Licensee Sandra Cordero to deliver the findings regarding the allegation listed above.
As part of the investigation, LPA Hernandez conducted interviews, reviewed relevant documentation, and performed a health and safety inspection of the Family Child Care Home (FCCH) on February 21, 2025.
On February 18, 2025, Community Care Licensing (CCL) received a complaint alleging that the provider failed to provide adequate supervision, resulting in an injury to a daycare child. Specifically, it was alleged that C1 sustained a bruise on their forehead close to C1's right eye due to lack of proper supervision.
Confidential interviews revealed that the Licensee was preparing snacks in the kitchen while C1 was playing with other children in the living/dining room area. The home has an open layout, allowing the Licensee to have a direct view into both areas. |
