13 | On July 10, 2026 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elyse Jones arrived at the facility to deliver findings for a complaint. LPA conducted a tour of the facility and took census. During the investigation interviews were conducted with pertinent parties. There were 22 infants and 61 preschoolers present during this inspection.
On May 12, 2026, a complaint was received alleging a child sustained multiple bite marks due to staff neglect. The allegation stated the child had been bitten more than five times. During interviews with pertinent parties, administration acknowledged that children in care were exhibiting challenging behaviors, including biting, hitting, and scratching. However, these behaviors were occurring at a level not appropriate for a classroom setting and resulted in injuries to other children. Facility administration shared that the facility implemented interventions such as redirection, teething toys, modified schedules, and shadowing, but the behaviors have continued. Facility administration also disclosed that they were and are following guidance from Headquarters and that resources have been provided to parents/authorized representatives. |
