On December 13, 2024, a complaint was reported to Community Care Licensing (CCL), alleging that the provider failed to provide adequate supervision of a daycare child, which resulted in injuries. Specifically, it was alleged that the licensee (LIC) did not provide proper supervision while the children played outside, which caused C1 to hit their head on the concrete and later sustain two black eyes.Confidential interviews revealed that while the children and LIC were outside playing, another child began to cry. LIC turned to check on the crying child when a scream was heard, and LIC noticed C1 on the ground crying. Additionally, on the day of the incident, LIC was alone with seven children in care. |
