32 | LPA learned through interviews that a verbal disagreement occurred both in and out of the facility. During interviews, it was reported that the staff member was not yelling inside the facility but used a “firm voice.” Interviews further indicated that yelling primarily occurred outside of the facility. At the time of the incident, children were not present outside of the facility where the yelling occurred; however, one child was in the facility in the back room with another staff. Children interviews did not reveal any evidence to support the allegation.
Based on the information obtained throughout the course of this investigation, the above allegations could not be substantiated or dismissed. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the finding is UNSUBSTAINTIATED.
An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report was reviewed and provided to Director, Leonard Perry. Notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for next 30 days. Appeal Rights were provided. |
