25 | On 12/17/24, at approximately 11:40AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michelle Perez met with new director Wanda Woods, who was hired on December 9, 2024. Upon arrival, LPA observed 6 preschool children with three teachers.
LPA conducted a case management visit to cite for a reporting requirement deficiency. LPA was not informed that the prior acting director/designee, had given notice to resign 14-days prior, and a new director was in place to be hired. This is a repeat violation, as the center was sited for reporting requirements on October 30, 2024, for not informing licensing of their new acting director/designee. The center has 10 days to notify licensing of any change in director, or designee. LPA was not made aware of any changes. Due to a repeat violation, within 1-year, civil penalties will be assessed.
During this visit, LPA reviewed the newly hired director's packet, to verify all information was completed and valid. LPA confirmed director has all required documents, and classes to be a director, including site supervisor permit.
