On Wednesday, August 5th, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lea Habtom arrived at the facility to interview children and close the complaint. There were 16 children being supervised by 3 staff. The director arrived during the inspection to conclude the investigation. All staff present during today’s inspection have fingerprint clearances and associations.

Staff yelled at daycare children

During the investigation, LPA Habtom conducted interviews and observations regarding the allegation that a staff member yelled at a child. Based on the limited information collected from staff, children and parents, LPA was unable to validate or invalidate that the allegation that a staff member yelled at a child therefore the outcome is UNSUBSTANTIATED. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegation did or did not occur.
No Title 22 regulations were cited during today’s inspection. This report was reviewed with the director, Sithumini Millawabandara. A notice of site visit was provided to be posted for 30 days. Appeal rights provided.
