32 | It was reported, on or about 05/01/23 there were 10 children present in the facility under the supervision of the Licensee. While conducting interviews it was disclosed on 05/01/23 Licensee had people over for a gathering and that not all the children present were daycare children and that most of the children were blood related. Licensee stated they have their daughter and their grandson available if they need help with the children. LPA conducted visits to the facility on different matters on the dates of 05/03/23, 05/10/23, 05/22/23, and 06/05/23, during these inspections Licensee was within their ratios. Due to conflicting information, there was not enough evidence to prove whether the facility was operating out of ratio.
Based on information obtained during this investigation through interviews conducted, the review of pertinent documentation, and after receiving conflicting information, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. A finding that the allegation is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the allegation occurred.
An exit interview was conducted with the Licensee, Appeal Rights were discussed and issued, a copy of this report was provided, and a Notice of Site visit was issued.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) shall be posted where the parent/guardian of children enter and exit the facility. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
A copy of this report must be made available for the next three years. |
