An Informal Conference was held in the Riverside Child Care Regional Office (RRO) on April 19, 2023. Present in the conference were Licensee, Barbara Bubello, Licensing Program Manager (LPM), Kimberly Williams, and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Aman Sharma.

The Conference was called to discuss the facility's most recent issues of:
1. Personal Rights
2. Discipline Policies
3. Staffing Ratio and Capacity

The Licensee has agreed to contact Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) to enroll and participate in formal training regarding personal rights, positive discipline strategies and how to deal with challenging behaviors within 60 days (by 06/19/23). Licensee was also advised to utilize the CCL website for resources related to Children's Personal Rights and the Operation of a Family Child Care Home, to train staff on a quarterly basis.

During today's conference, hard copies of documents were discussed and provided to Licensee related to Title 22 Regulations and Health & Safety Code sections identified above. Technical Support Program (TSP) was discussed and information related to TSP was provided to Licensee. Licensee has an option to enroll in TSP. If Licensee agrees to enroll in TSP, they agree to notify the Department within 30 days of this report.

As a result of this informal conference, Licensee Barbara Bubello understands the department’s expectations and agrees to maintain substantial compliance with Title 22 Regulations.

Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Family Child Care Homes Section 102417. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department.
