25 | On March 20, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Calloway and Braddock made an unannounced case management inspection to the Yarber Family Child Care. LPAs' met with Licensee who granted access. LPAs toured the home inside and outside and observed twelve (12) day care children in active care and two staff.
After LPA's arrived, Licensee brought two day care children inside while preparing lunch, one child was in a high chair, and there were nine day care children in active play outside with one staff member (S2), and the third assistant was out for the day.
LPAs provided Licensee with a Technical Assistance, to divide the care appropriately amongst the staff that are present inside the home. See advisory page.
Exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was read, a Notice of Site Visit, and Appeal Rights were provided to Licensee at the facility. A Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for thirty (30) consecutive days. Failure to maintain posting will result in a $100 civil penalty. |
