On 08/26/2026 at 12:00PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adriana Macias conducted an unannounced inspection for the purpose of delivering findings on a complaint received on 06/01/2026, with above allegation. Upon arrival, LPA was greeted by Acting Director Kelly Massey and toured the facility. A total of 12 infants with 4 staff, 7 toddlers with 1 staff and 12 preschoolers with 2 staff were observed during nap times with appropriate capacity and ratios. All staff have been fingerprinted. At approximately 12:30 p.m., LPA Macias left the facility for unrelated reasons and returned at about 1:00 p.m. During today’s inspection, staff and one child were interviewed

It was alleged that a staff member is inappropriately disciplining children. Based on LPA observations and interviews with staff, parents, and children, there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation. Only 2 of 17 individuals interviewed expressed concerns regarding inappropriate discipline. No deficiencies were observed during this inspection.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, therefore the above allegation is found to be Unsubstantiated.
