32 | Regarding the allegation Staff did not provide adequate supervision, resulting in inappropriate touching between children. During the course of the investigation, LPA Gerth interviewed all staff who were present in the classroom at the time of the alleged incident. Interviews corroborated that two children were playing in the dramatic play area when one child was observed not maintaining personal boundaries by failing to keep their hands to themselves. At the time of the incident, the supervising classroom teacher was seated at a table and providing direct supervision to the children in the classroom.
Therefore, although an incident occurred where children did not maintain personal space and boundaries, LPA did not find that the incident occurred due to inadequate supervision. Based on interviews conducted and evidence reviewed, LPA did not find a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation occurred, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
An exit interview was conducted with Director Harpreet Randhawa and a copy of this report was provided along with Appeal rights. A Notice of Site visit was given, and the Director understands that it must remain posted for 30 days. |
