13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tricia Danielson arrived unannouced to the facility to initiate an investigation into the allegation listed above. LPA met wit Director Jennifer Castaneda and explained the purpose of the visit. At the time of today's visit, the preschool had 36 children enrolled and 20 preschoolers were present.
During today's visit, LPA toured the facility including the kitchen food prep and storage area. LPA observed an adequate supply of nutritious foods including multiple gallons of fresh milk, cheeses, several varieties of fruits and vegetables, pastas, tortillas, pancakes, waffles, and hamburger. The food supply was also compatable with the posted menu. A recent food program visit also indicated the facility was in compliance with all food program requirements including proper nutrition, compliance with posted menu, and plentiful servings and supply. LPA Interviews conducted with 4 staff and 5 preschoolers also supported LPA and food program's observations.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is no preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted, and this report was reviewed with and provided to Director Castaneda. Appeal Rights were also discussed and provided. An LIC 9213- Notice of Site Visit was also issued and must remain posted near the main entrance for 30 days. Non-compliance with posting will result in a $100 fine. This report must be accessible to the public for three years. |
