25 | On 08/28/2023 at 9:45 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Michelle Hood attempted to conduct an unannounced Annual Required Inspection and met with Licensee Brenda Jones. Per the licensee, she has not been caring for children. The LPA was unable to conduct the inspection due to the licensee is in the process of having some flooring replaced. There were workers coming in and out of the facility.
The LPA and licensee discussed the spouse's pending fingerprint clearance. The spouse was cleared prior; however, an exemption is required. The licensee is a foster caring provider. The licensees spouse provided paperwork to the foster care department; however, the licensee is unsure if the same paperwork was submitted to licensing. The LPA will contact Guardian for further clarification. The licensee will not care for children until the clearance is resolved.
The LPA and licensee discussed an inactive status, as well as overdue fees.
An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the licensee Brenda Jones. The licensing report will be e-mailed to the licensee and the licensee was advised that acknowledgment of receipt of the report and appeal rights (LIC 9058 12/15) are to be received within twenty-four hours. LIC 9213 NOTICE OF SITE VISIT FORM IS REQUIRED TO BE POSTED FOR 30 DAYS. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. No deficiencies were cited. |
