25 | On 4/17/2023 @ 1:10 p.m. Licensing Program Analyst, Joelle Redding, made an unannounced visit for the purpose of an Annual Inspection. During this visit, there were no children in and Licensee was away from home. His wife contacted him by phone. He wants to keep the Licensee but his wife needs to leave to pick up her children. This inspection will be initiated and conducted at a later date. There are no children enrolled in the day care. The facility is within ratio and capacity. Ms. Pham does not speak English fluently.
During the initial tour, LPA did verify that the smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector was not working and that there were medications (sleep medications and cold medication) out, accessible to children in the kitchen as well as a pair of scissors on the kitchen counter. The stairs were not secured but no children are enrolled. At this time, LPA was unable to conduct a full investigation and will be citing for these specific deficiencies today.
Both Ms. Pham and Licensee had current CPR/FA with A-B-Cpr thru 7/24 and all postings.
See LIC 809D for deficiencies.
NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS GIVEN AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
