The investigation addressed concerns alleging that staff did not treat the child with dignity and respect. LPA met with the Director, Claudine Castillo and Licensee, Jenny Chan. At the time of the inspection, the Director and 5 staff members were supervising 22 children (6 infants and 16 preschoolers). The center was operating within its licensed capacity and met staffing and supervision requirements.

Certain items associated with the child were removed or not maintained in the same manner as those of other children. These practices did not align with personal rights requirements to ensure each child is treated with dignity and provided an environment that supports their sense of belonging.
