25 | On 7/14/26, at 12:10 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Matthew Sapien conducted an unannounced annual random inspection visit of the abovementioned Family Child Care Home (FCCH). LPA met with Heather Parizek, Licensee of the FCCH, and explained the nature and purpose of the inspection. The LPA, in the company of Licensee, toured the interior and exterior of the FCCH. The home possesses 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is a single story home. The areas that are accessible for day care children are the following: living room (primary playroom), dining room, one hallway bathroom, and the backyard. The remainder of the home, including all of the bedrooms, are off limits from childcare. Inaccessible rooms and areas are made secure via child safety locks and latches. At the time of the inspection, LPA observed 5 day care children present, none of whom were infants. In addition to the Licensee, LPA also observed the Licensee's husband at the time of the inspection who is cleared and associated through the Guardian system.
LPA observed the FCCH to be clean and in order. The bathroom, which is utilized for childcare, was found to be clean and free of toxins. LPA observed child safety latches added to bathroom cabinets and each cabinet was free of any toxic items. LPA observed personal medications, sharps (kitchen knives), and cleaning supplies stored in elevated kitchen cabinets. At this time, no children currently use medication. Additional cleaning supplies are stored in the garage, an area that is off limits for children in care.
LPA observed age-appropriate toys, furnishings, and equipment throughout the primary playroom. In the main day care room, LPA observed a few storage compartments and containers who possessed items related to the day care. LPA observed no fireplaces within the residence. LPA also observed two cats on site, each of whom are vaccinated, however, don't have interactions with children in care.
LPA observed relevant licensing forms and documents posted prominently at the entrance of the residence. (CONT. 809-C, Page 2)
