25 | On July 21, 2026, at approximately 2:45pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted an unannounced plan of correction (POC) and Case Management inspection. LPA met with licensee, Liliana Del Barco and explained the purpose of the visit.
Present during visit are licensee and assistant caring and supervising 10 children (1 infant, 8 preschoolers, and 1 school age child). During today’s inspection, facility is operating within capacity limits. During today’s inspection, all adults present and living in the home have fingerprint clearance and are associated with the facility.
On June 24, 2026, LPA conducted an unannounced annual inspection. During inspection, LPA cited a Type A citation under HSC 1596.871(c)(1)(A) as there was an adult present who had not obtained fingerprint clearance. Also, there were two Type B citations under CCR102416.3(a)(6) for facility using a room that was not approved by the department and CCR 102359(a) as facility was advertising daycare business without the facility number. A plan of correction was created and discussed with licensee.
During today’s inspection, LPAs conducted a health and safety inspection of the home. LPA observed that there are no other adults present besides licensee and assistant. LPA observed that the report dated June 24, 2026, was posted with the Notice of Site Visit. LPA also observed that there were 12 Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224) signed in each child’s file.
Licensee submitted a request to add an additional room to daycare area. San Mate Fire Department approved the room with no conditions on July 15, 2026. LPA inspected Bedroom #2. Bedroom #2 will be used as a playroom for free play. Bedroom #2 has toys along the walls. LPA observed all visible outlets have been covered. Bedroom #2 appears to be free of any hazardous or dangerous items in the room. LPA will approve Bedroom #2 as a day care area.
New Daycare areas are: Dining Room, Bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, hallway bathroom, and patio/backyard. Off Limit areas are: Living Room, Bedroom #3, Kitchen, and Garage. All off limit areas, including all closets, are properly barricaded.
LPA has cleared all citations that were given on June 24th, 2026. POC Letters were generated and provided to licensee.
No deficiencies were cited today under Title 22 Division 12 of the Ca. Code of Regulations.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Liliana Del Barco.
