On February 22, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Maria Olguin-Leon, met with Kaitlynn and Linh Tran for an unannounced annual inspection. Present for today’s visit were both Licensee’s, two helpers and 12 preschool children. Facility is following capacity ratios. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

LPA and Licensee inspected the home for health and safety hazards. The home is a three bedroom single level home. On limit areas are living room, family room, kitchen, Bedroom #1, bathrooms #1 & #2 and the entire backyard. Off limits area is Bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, and Bathroom #3. Home is clean with age-appropriate toys, child size furnishings, learning material and sleeping cots. Outdoor has play structures with slides and swings and riding toys. Backyard has tanbark and grass and is entirely fenced with a 5 ft. fence. Side gates are secured, one has a lock, and one gate is nailed shut and not used. All poisons, cleaning products, and other potentially harmful substances have been stored in a location that is inaccessible to children.

The home is equipped with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and a completely charged fire extinguisher. Cell phones are used for communication. Licensee are aware the one phone must always be at facility. Per licensee there are no weapons in the home. LPA observed that the facility posted all required documents.
