On February 24, 2025, at 12:41 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPAs) Bill Billones and Giovani Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Required 3-Year inspection of the abovementioned Family Child Care Home (FCCH). LPAs met with Alexis Chapman, Licensee, and informed them of the purpose of the visit. LPAs, in the company of the Licensee toured the interior and exterior of the facility and observed required documents posted in a prominent and publicly accessible area of the facility. The LIC 610A Emergency Disaster Plan and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist were not posted. The hours of operation are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Thursday. During the inspection, LPAs observed two (2) children in care, along with Licensee providing supervision. Adults present in the home were associated and cleared.

The FCCH operates out of one play room, a dining room, and an outdoor play area and the rest of the home is excluded from child care. The bathrooms are not used for child care due to the Licensee caring for infants. The rooms used for child care were observed to be appropriately furnished. The kitchen is made inaccessible to children in care with latched gates. Licensee states the changing tables are cleaned daily. LPAs observed adequate amount of cribs. Soiled laundry is stored in a sealed container and made inaccessible to children in care. The outdoor yard area is enclosed by wooden fencing and is secure. Outdoor furnishings, toys, and equipment are age appropriate.

LPAs observed a carbon monoxide detector and a smoke alarm which were both tested at 12:59 PM and found to be operable. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, and sharps are made inaccessible to children in care. Licensee states medications are stored in Licensee's bedroom and made inaccessible to children in care. Licensee notes no firearms or ammunition are stored on site. LPAs observed a regulation fire extinguisher (2A10BC) that was last serviced on 9/7/2022. LPAs note the last fire drill was conducted on 3/8/2024. No bodies of water were observed on grounds.
