On 8/14/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Liridon Fici- Doni conducted an unannounced Complaint Inspection and met with NAKIA CENTENO, Director and also informed her of today’s visit. LPA gathered a census of children in care.

During the course of the investigation, LPA interviewed staff, children, and obtained documents.

It was alleged that staff do not apply sunblock to children in the afternoons. Based on interviews conducted, all interviewed staff consistently stated that sunblock application occurs once in the mornings by parents and is applied again by staff in the afternoons before children go outside. Staff also reported that parents provide sunblock for their own child. When interviewed, children stated they know what sunblock is and what it’s used for. Based on interviews and available information, the LPA was not able to determine whether sunblock is consistently applied to children in the afternoons by staff.
