On August 31, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nohemi Sanchez conducted an unannounced Complaint Inspection to deliver findings for the above-mentioned allegations. LPA Sanchez met with Curriculum Specialist, Pam Costa. LPA Sanchez discussed the above allegations and the reason for the inspection. A tour of the facility was conducted, and a census was taken.

In regard to the allegation of Staff did not notify parent or authorized representative child had lice, it was revealed that the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. During the investigation, LPA Sanchez interviewed the Preschool Coordinator, Staff, Day Care Parents. LPA Sanchez also reviewed facility records. This agency determined that the complaint is Unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

A copy of appeal rights were provided to Curriculum Specialist.
An exit interview was conducted with Curriculum Specialist Pam Costa. Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiencies cited during today's visit. A notice of site visit was issued and must remain posted for 30 days.
