A second announced pre-licensing/capacity increase inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli. Met with Applicants, Concepcion and Steven McPhetridge. Applicants and their seven minor children reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or exemption. Fire clearance was granted on November 8, 2022.

The purpose of today's inspection is to verify that the following corrections requested were made. LPA observed the following corrections today:
  • Applicants anchored the wooden swings/slide play structure to the ground.
  • Applicants completed the Preventative Health and Safety certifications on November 18, 2022.


Fire clearance was received on November 9, 2022. Fire pull alarm is located in the day care room on the right hand side wall.

The home meets the description of a safe and healthy environment for children as described in Chapter 3, Division 12, Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and is adequate for a Large Family Day Care Home (LFDCH). Licensure as a Large Family Day Care Home capacity of 8 children will be recommended effective November 22, 2022.



* Planned hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
