32 | The complaint alleged that licensee does not ensure facility operates within ratio and CCC staff do not ensure adequate supervision is provided resulting in children getting hurt. Information obtained through LPA interviews did not corroborate the allegations noted above. LPA interviews found that staff always maintain required staff to child ratios according to Title 22 regulations. Additionally, interviews found that children in care are provided safe and healthful accommodation while in care. LPA observations supported information gathered during interviews. LPA reviewed staff attendance and children’s sign-in/out records. Records reviewed found that the staff had the required number of staff present for the number of children in care.
Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore, the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
An exit interview was conducted with Director, Armida Ortiz. Director was provided with Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) and a Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213). Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days or a civil penalty of $100 may apply.
