32 | During both unannounced inspections, LPA observed children’s needs being meet, appropriate care and supervision being provided, and no concerns related to the alleged violations were observed. Staff interviewed denied the allegations and demonstrated knowledge of providing appropriate care and supervision, meeting children's individual needs, implementing the center's policies, following the admission agreement, and utilizing appropriate behavior management practices.
Parents interviewed stated that the center meets their children's needs and respects their personal rights. Parents reported they received the admission agreement upon enrollment and understood the center's policies. Parents further stated that when accommodations are needed, they communicate with the director, who works with families to determine whether the requested accommodations can be reasonably met. Overall, parents expressed satisfaction with the care and supervision provided by the center.
Based on LPA observations, document/record review, and interviews, there was not enough evidence to support the allegations. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection.
A Notice of Site Visit was issued and shall remain posted for 30 days. Appeal Rights were provided and explained. Failure to maintain the Notice of Site Visit posting for the required 30-day period may result in a civil penalty of $100.
A exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the director Paulina Ortiz. |
