How to read violations

Nearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.

CCR 101416.5(b) — Staff-Infant Ratio (b)There shall be a ratio of one teacher for every four infants in attendance.

“Based on interview, Licensee did not ensure that rooms maintained the staff-infant ratio of 1:4. DIsclosures revealed that rooms have been out of ratio on different occassions. This poses an immediate risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of children in care”
