Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing DivisionNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Based on observation and interview, the metal base of the pole that holds the shade was broken and the broken part, which is accessible to children, was sharp and rusty. This poses a potential risk to health and safety of children in care”
“LPA observed the edges of the mat were curling up and may be a tripping hazard. Based on interview, the mat was temporarily placed to prevent children from scrstching their legs on the original cushioning which was rough to touch”
“Based on observations and interviews Director did not report the multiple cases of hand, foot, mouth disease that occurred in the infant center to licensing office or department of public health. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety to the children in care.”
