Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing DivisionNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“C1 was left in soiled clothes in the restroom for about minutes until mother arrived to help clean her up. Mother cleaned and dressed child in fresh clothing. Staff did not provide assistance. This poses a potential risk to children in care.”
“C1 was left in the restroom with older sibling on different occasions. Staff needed to have a visual view of child while she was in the restroom. Sibling was not responsible for supervision.”
“A child sustained an injury requiring medical attention. This poses an immediate risk to the health and safety of the children in care.”
“Interviews and records reviews indicate on more than one occasion, S1 yelled and mishandled children which poses an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care.”
“A child left classroom without staff being aware. Child was left unsupervised. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of the children in care.”
“Children sustaining unexplained injuries while under the care and supervision of staff. Three confirmed incidents which staff are not aware of injuries. These incidents are an immediate health and safetey concern for all children in care.”
