Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Submit a parent right-to-know log.”
“The water temperature in the bathroom faucet is 122.3 degrees F. Lower temperature on the hot water heater and send an email to OCCL.”
“Obtain mats for naps that are not torn. Send a photo.”
“Ensure first aid kit contains all required items. Obtain bandage tape, plastic bag, first aid guide, and roll gauze. Send a photo.”
“Ensure renewal application is submitted to OCCL at least 60 days prior to license expiration. Send application.”
“The Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint on September 30, 2022, regarding not following diapering procedures and an unqualified person alone with children. An investigation was conducted on October 4, 2022. The complaint is substantiated for not having an extra supply of diapers available for use by children if a parent or guardian does not provide them when required. The complaint is substantiated for leaving an unqualified person alone with children, because [name withheld] and Staff #1 admitted Staff #1 went out to buy diapers, leaving an underaged person alone to provide care.”
