Inspection history

Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Ensure child files are complete. Five children need dates of enrollment, two children need hours attending, two children need days attending. One child needs an entire file.”
“Have daily attendance records for children that state the exact time each child arrives and departs from the home. The daily attendance records shall be updated at the time of the arrival and departure of the child.”
“Ensure the Parent Right to Know Log is completed.”
“Ensure monthly safety inspections and fire drills are conducted. The last inspection and fire drill on file was January 2023.”
“Ensure CPR training includes a hands on component.”
“OCCL received a complaint on August 25, 2022, regarding positive behavior supports. An investigation was conducted on August 29, 2022. The complaint is substantiated because [name withheld] stated she would go to a basket of toys, dump it, and have Child #1 clean up the toys after sitting in time-out for not cleaning up.”
“Ensure a renewal application is submitted 60 days before license expiration.”
“Ensure the daily attendance is taken either electronically or written showing the exact arrival and departure of the child.”
“Ensure that each child upon enrollment has screen time permissions signed by a guardian.”
