Inspection history
Source: Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingRecords held from Sep 27, 2021 onward. Earlier visits may exist in the agency’s own files.
Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Ensure staff files are complete. One staff member needs to complete CPR with a skills demonstration, OCCL's Health and Safety Training for Child Care Professionals, job description, an adult abuse registry check, release of employment history, and corresponding service letters.”
“Ensure child files are complete. One child needs an updated health appraisal.”
“Ensure every exit, exit access, and exit discharge is free of obstruction at all times. A large shelf was placed in front of the door leading into classroom 3 from the hallway. Upon discussion, staff stated the shelf is placed there so that a particular child cannot escape the classroom. This specialist provided technical assistance and suggested a staff person position themselves at the door to monitor it at all times. This was discussed with staff and corrected when they agreed to comply in the future.”
“Ensure the bathroom is kept in a sanitary condition and cleaned daily or more frequently if needed. The bathroom in classroom 3 needs to be cleaned around the toilet and the wall under the sink and soap dispenser.”
“Ensure the outdoor play area is maintained in a clean and safe condition. Remove the debris in the corner behind the ramp. Ensure the fencing has no openings larger than 3 1/2 inches wide. There is an approximately four inch gap between the large gate and the fence.”
“Ensure Parent's Right to Know Log is completed for any parents touring the center.”
“Ensure toilets are in good repair. The toilet in Room 3 has a broken seat. Repair the seat or purchase a new one.”
“Ensure the First Aid Kit in the bus has all required materials. This was corrected at the visit when bandage tape was added to the kit.”
“Ensure staff files are complete. One staff member needs an adult health appraisal. Four staff need service letters or two documented attempts with additional references.”
“Ensure staff files are complete. One staff member needs annual review of abuse and neglect. One staff member needs CPR, first aid, and administration of medication certification, and a professional development plan.”
“Ensure child files are complete. One child needs a health appraisal with immunization record. One child needs blood lead test results. One child needs a health appraisal and blood lead test results.”
“Ensure staff files are complete. One staff member needs a job description and two references. One staff member needs current CPR and first aid.”
“Repair the toilet paper roll holder in the bathroom between Classroom 1 and Classroom 2 to ensure the toilet paper roll is not stored on the floor.”
